The cause of having cellulite cannot be pointed to a singular factor alone. It is a combination of multiple variables such as genetics, hormones, connective tissue structure, and some more others. This means that you shouldn’t blame your parents for it!

A few exercise routines can help you manage, reverse, and avoid having them. The following exercises can help you maintain tight skin and improve blood circulation effectively correcting cellulites!

1.) Plie Squat

Simply stand with your legs more than shoulder width apart. Point your toes outward (pointing opposite to each other if you have some flexibility). Place your hands on your thigh for support and gradually lower your hips to the level of your knees. Do three to five sets of 12 repetitions at least three times a week for great results.

2.) Reverse Lunge

This is just the opposite of a normal lunge, but it can be a little tricky. Stand straight with your feet shoulder-width apart. Lift one leg and step as far back as possible while lowering yourself until the other thigh is parallel to the ground.

You can make it more challenging by trying to touch your knees to the ground. If you are already used to this, you can hold a few pounds of dumbbell while doing a reverse lunge.

3.) Alternating Abduction Squat

Place your feet shoulder width apart while standing upright. Raise your hands just right above your shoulders (like a boxing stance) for balance. Lower your hips until your thighs are parallel to the ground (go lower for more challenge).

Raise your body while bearing weight on your heels. While doing this, lift one leg laterally as high as you can with your knees straight. Do this with the other leg and complete about 12-15 repetitions. Do this up to five sets.

4.) Side Lunge

Stand up straight with your feet at shoulder width’s distance. Lunge to your side as far as you can while maintaining a firm back. Lower yourself towards the end of the lunge while lifting your hands above the shoulders to maintain balance.

Bear weight on your other leg while going back to the standing position. Do up to 15 repetitions and the same with the other leg. Finish this routine up to five sets. When you get the hang of it and you are confident with your balance, you can add a few weights while doing it.

5.) Pistol Squat

This is quite a difficult routine, especially for beginners but it can give you an answer to how to get rid of cellulites. You grab something to hold on to while doing this as you get accustomed to it. Grab a chair or hold on to your coach.

Place your feet shoulder width apart. Lift one leg in your front and gently lower yourself until you reach a sitting position (go lower if you dare to challenge yourself) while bearing your weight on your heels. Lift your hands above your shoulders for balance (or grab on to something). Using your heels, return to a standing position. Do as many as you can and repeat with the other leg.

6.) Hip Bridge

Lie on the floor with your knees bent and horizontally aligned with the balls of your feet. Place your arms on your side with palms facing the floor. You will be using your hands as your base and support. In one explosive motion, raise your hips as if you are going to hit the ceiling! Hold at the top for about three seconds before lowering yourself back to the round. Repeat 12-15 times for 3-5 sets.

7.) Boot Strappers

Never attempt this if you are not confident with the flexibility of your hamstrings. But if you really want to know how to get rid of cellulite,  you should start exercising!

Start with a stance wider than your shoulder. Lower yourself to a squat and make contact with your elbows and knees. From this position, while maintaining contact with your knees and elbows, straighten your leg as if you are strapping your boots then go back to the lowered squat position. Lift your torso up while bearing weight on your heels. If this is too easy for you, hold a kettle bell while performing this. Do 8-12 repetitions for 3-5 sets.

It can be a little difficult to begin an active lifestyle. But with discipline, you can rid yourself of cellulite and lead a healthier lifestyle.
