Emilia got to go to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia on the first Saturday of October.  Things got even better after that.  We went to the Pumpkin Patch at Legare Farms on Johns Island one Sunday afternoon.  It was too cold to wear her cute smocked pumpkin dress again this year but we were thankful for a cool day in the middle of all of the upper 80s we had for most of the month.  Emilia loved the cows as usual but also has discovered horses recently.  She rode one at the Pumpkin Patch and did not want to get off.  The next weekend she got to go to the Fall Festival at Hibben United Methodist in Mt Pleasant with some of her friends.  She again got to take a horse ride and was in heaven.  We went to the Citadel for a little tailgating after that.  Halloween weekend we had our annual party at the Isle of Palms Recreation Department.  There were so many cute little ones in costume.  October was so much fun!
