Please feel free to come and use the chapel any time you are in the church. There are books to look at, a sand garden to rake, candles, incense and the labyrinth. If you have any questions you can email Jill or Amy.

Whether you have experience or not, plan on joining in on the fun. First Salem's New Celtic Band - St Brigid's Cross. They are looking for any kind of musician or enthusiastic volunteer. Call or email the church for more info.
St. Brigid - or St. Brighid, St. Brighet, St. Bridget, or even St. Brighit's Cross comes from the Irish myth about a girl who weaves a cross out of rushes and interests a dying pagan chieftain enough to convert him to Christianity.
Prior to that, Briget was the goddess of fire, patroness of smithcraft, poetry and healing (especially the healing touch of midwifery). It is through her name that women being married were called brides.
No matter how you spell it, grab an instrument, or just come and we'll loan you one!
