Previous Topic   Luck Concedes to Skill [Print]
Grand Mesa Bowmen, Inc. Bowmen, Inc Posted - October 29, 2009

I hereby concede victory in the Long Range Boar Shoot to Tim Mullen.  Yes, I got three arrows into the foam, but, two of them obviously ricocheted off the sand up into the belly of the pig.  Tim showed more skill when two of his three shots on the pig would have killed a live boar.  Two out of three of mine would have simply wounded him--not what any archer wants.  I was lucky, and Tim was obviously more skillful.
