Dear Friend,

Thank you for becoming a honored guest of our family website.  I'm sure you are aware that baby Josiah joined our family on February 18, 2008 at 8:22 a.m.!  We were and are still overjoyed with utter delight!   I don't think that feeling will ever go away.  He is such a blessing to me, Kevin, our family and friends.  Kevin and I always have fun together but now our home is filled with a new level of laughter, smiles, kisses and "baby boy" giggles .  I hope it never fills to capacity!  We have discovered a renewed sense of life and living because of this miniature man-child God blessed us with.  He's one-year old now and we celebrated his birthday with a party at Gymboree Play & Music.  Although he wasn't 100% healthy due to a week-long fever the day did not disappoint.  It was a WONDERFUL day because we thought about and talked about our 10 year journey to conceive and give birth to this little boy and all that we went through to have him join our family.  Look at the b-day pictures in the Photo Gallery. 

He is now able to say a few words along with his own lingo that only he understands.  His current words are Mama, hi, stop, thank you, light, later (as in See You Later), and even CoCo, his teacher's name.  He pulls up on anything that is nailed down and pushes his walking toys.  He "tells" on one of us to the other by waving his pointer finger and speaking giberish...it's so cute (at least for now).  We watch Wheel of Fortune together and he claps and says YEEEEEEAH when they spin the wheel.  We look forward to each new adventure with him every single day.
