Food on a budget - BURRRRITOOOOSSS!!! - sond Next [Print]
Ok-
There's really no measuring involved!!!
Pre-Heat Oven 375
*Hamburger..don't forget to salt and pepper the beef as it cooks...
(you decide how many burritos you want to make. I make 4lbs. and it gives me 20 burritos and I freeze them)
*Re-Fried Beans (soup size can)
*Enchilada Sauce (soup size can)
*Diced Green Chiles (small can)
*Taco Seasoning (I like the mild and hot and mix the two)
*Burrito size tortillas
*Mild Cheddar Cheese
Cook the HAMBURGER. Drain after cooked.
Add the TACO SEASONING. Mix together.
Add the RE-FRIED BEANS. Mix together.
Add the DICED GREEN CHILES. Mix together.
Add the ENCHILADA SAUCE. Half the can should do it. Mix together.
Let it all simmer in the pan.
Make sure you microwave the tortillas for 20 secs. before you fill them. This softens them up and are easier to roll.
Fill your tortillas with the filling and cheese.
Put on a cookie sheet. Make sure you PAM the cookie sheet first.
Sprinkle cheese on top of the burritos and put in the oven until the cheese is melted.
Be careful when you take them out. DO NOT eat them right away. The inside will be HOT..!
It's filling, cheap and you can eat them for days!!!!
To re-heat...Microwave for 1:30
and they're GREAT!!!
