I meet Kathy and Dennis while going to TCU, Dennis was the head of design and production and Kathy was a fellow MFA candidate. I can't tell you how much their friendship meant to me at the time and what good memories I have of all the time we spent together in class and out of class. She even got me to "help out" in the costume shop and that couldn't have been good, believe me there is no one else in the world I would have done that for!
In addition to sharing the tribulations of graduate school we worked together on many outside projects including summer stock. Even after we both got that piece of paper, I visited them in NYC during their Sesame Street days.
I went thru the pictures I have of those days and the best ones are of Kathy and Luna and Kathy and Dennis. I still remember them telling me they were going back to CA, because NYC was no place to raise a child.
Although I haven't talked to her in years the news of her passing saddens me just as much as if I saw her yesterday.
