our mother's birthday [Print]   Next topic Pages 1 2
Kristie Pierocich Posted - January 18, 2007

Hi all...Littlest Sister here, just wanted to know if everyone was getting mom a gife for her birthday.  Let me know if so and what.
Peace
Bobby Posted - January 20, 2007

I would like to see everybody chip in to give mom some money for her apartment.  This way she can go when it is finished and pick out curtains and stuff.  Just one poor man's opinion.
Kristie Pierocich Posted - January 20, 2007

I'm game with that.  Quit changing the backgrounds and stuff.  This one is ok, I like the other one better.  If you decide to keep this one, change the background color of the Link box on the left.  The blue doesn't look good with all the green on the page.
Cindy Thompson Posted - January 20, 2007

I am all for getting Moms apartment ready.

She has been down in the dumps lately about it.

Lets all chip in and "get 'er done"!

Love ya, Sisser Bear

What have we decided on this topic?
Momma is turning 57 on Saturday..... heh hmmm
Anyone figured out how much this is going to cost?
Are we going to all get together and have dinner or anything?
Bobby Posted - January 22, 2007

good questions.  she wants to have a pizza party for all of the kids.  she bought those personal pan pizza kits.  so it looks like the grandkids (that means all of them) will be coming over on Saturday or Sunday.  No excuses.  Get them over for mom's party.

Other than that, she didn't say anything.  If you guys want to chip in to have a party -- fine, but everybody chips in and/or brings something.  Presents, i would still like you guys to all put towards a gift card towards lowes or wal-mart.  only a suggestion.

Mom told me that she didn't want to have her party till next weekend because Chris' pizza's won't be in until Monday.  Therefore, there won't be any pizza's.  I would say we can all take her to dinner but I don't think she would like that. Not naming any reasons though...you figure them out.  She doesn't like a lot of people over (unless it is ALL family).  She doesn't like all the people.

These aren't suggestions, just input from me.  I am good for the money towards her house but as for dinner, don't have anything for ya.

Bobby Posted - January 22, 2007

So that is a know for having a small party for her? You are mean.
Kristie Pierocich Posted - January 23, 2007

No, that is a NO, not a know....

We can have a small party for her if yall want to but if Sonya and her parents show up out of the blue, just to visit you...she would be very uncomfortable and want to go home.  That would not be a good thing on her birthday.  If you would like to let them know (in a non-chalant way) not to come over, then I am certainly game.  I like coming over and playing games.

Mom will probably stay the night with me Monday and Tuesday (Lee will be oin Venice on a fishing trip) and I am too scared to stay by myself.  I told her I would take her to dinner if she wants to go...yall are more then welcome.

Kristie Pierocich Posted - January 23, 2007

We need to get together on what everyone is brining since there will be no pizzas.  Mom thinks we are going to have her party next weekend when the pizzas are in, so let me know.
Cindy Thompson Posted - January 23, 2007

So has everyone decided on a menu yet?If not I suggest a bbque. Chicken, beans, homemade taters, corn on the cob, rolls, cake and ice cream... we can do games and stuff. that sounds fun. sorry i aint been on here lately but business statistics is a killer. argh! what day are we doing this? somebody check the weather incase we play outside games. where are we doing this??????????????
Bobby Posted - January 24, 2007

we don't have to do this.  we can wait until mom gets her little pizzas in if that is what she wants.
Kristie Pierocich Posted - January 24, 2007

I don't know what she wants.  I plan on taking her out to dinner Monday and I am game for doing this on Saturday at lunch or Sunday afternoon (dinner) because we have plans at times other then that.  Just let me know and we will work around it.
Bobby Posted - January 24, 2007

i don't
have time.  you plan it; i will go along with it.
Cindy Thompson Posted - January 26, 2007

mom already decided that she wants her little pizza party out here next weekend. i am getting her a walmart card. let me know which day is best for everyone. I think saturday at lunch would be perfect. lemme know. love ya me
Bobby Posted - January 26, 2007

So, Saturday February 3rd at 12 at Cindy's house.  Got it.
Cindy Thompson Posted - January 30, 2007

Got It ...........
Cindy Thompson Posted - February 1, 2007

From what  I am gathering from momma.. this is the plan. Everybody is making pp pizzas for lunch with chips and drinks. for dinner we are making spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, and salad. the next morning we are having sausage gravy, biscuits, and hashbrowns. I am told that the only ones spending the evening will be Kristie's three. Christian is a maybe and Daphne has to bbsit and Mitch has to watch her.  I feel so sorry for them, they would probaby love the break from reality. As for chicken and stuff... i do not know where that came from. If anybody wants to bring something... feel free. Someone has to be in charge of her cake. she wants a cheesecake. Mom wants it this way and I am fine with her plans. If you want to bring the chips or soda or paper plates to go with the pp pizzas that is great too!! just let me know soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Love ya all.. me
Kristie Pierocich Posted - February 2, 2007

I talked to mom this morning, Friday, and she said that if we want to bring stuff we can.  She thinks 18 pp pizzas will be enough for the kids and adults.  I don't think it will be.  If anyone is gonna go to Walmart please pick me up something to donate.  We do not go past one (unless we get off on 49, which is hell).  I think Chicken sounds good.  Mom wants to make her cheesecake.  Someone call me on my cell if they can think of something for me to bring.  I have to get her a giftcard still too.

Cindy, don't worry about Dawn's kids, I am workin on her.

See you at the

Cindy Thompson Posted - February 2, 2007

Does anyone plan on picking up momma for this? She is wanting me to go pick her up tonight because she is afraid she will not have a ride tomorrow. Daryl and  I have tons of school work that needs to be done in order for us to participate tomorrow in anything other then school. Someone post to this asap because this whole thing is giving me a headache! What is everyone bringing? Momma said that the menu has changed yet again.. I have cups, paper towels and paper plates. I will pick up plastic forks and spoons from the dollar store as well. I do not want to have to use my dishes for cooking all of this because we will have one big mess on our hands to clean up after everyone leaves . Therefore please bring whatever you are bringing already cooked. eh hmmm. such as store bought potato salad instead of home made taters. TThanks! Love   me
