Hi Everyone!

          Fall is getting off to a great start this year!  Ryan has started the First Grade, and he is just loving it!  He is getting a hang of this school gig.  He has a lot of friends and is doing really well this year. His teacher informed us that she wants to have him tested for TAG (Talented And Gifted).  He will be tested for his reading and cognative skills, so he is excited about that.  Ryan is also playing soccer again this year, and Ty is the coach. He really likes soccer, although it's really more like chasing the ball at this age.   He also lost his second tooth this morning, so he is super excited for the tooth fairy to come and leave him money in the mailbox again.   He won't leave his tooth under his pillow because he doesn't want anyone coming into his room while he's asleep.  

Katie is also doing really well.  She just turned 5 months old on Sept 22nd. She is a healthy little growing baby girl.  She weighed in at 14.5 lbs, and she is 24 inches long.  She's just started sleeping through the night, and we are pretty thankful for that.  Now if we could just get her to keep sleeping past 6am that would be GREAT!!  She has started the really cute baby stage. She is cooing, talking, and griping all the time. She smiles at everyone who speaks to her, and is just always genuinely happy to see you. She's always reaching for everything and playing with her toys.  I just love this "happy baby" stage.  

Ty and I are doing well too.  Ty is very excited that it's football season, and I am just enjoying being the mom around here.
