We had such a good time on Saturday on the Polar Express train ride! I have posted photos under Nov. 2008. We all met at our house just after 10 a.m. Matt, Luke and I, Mom, Holly, Chris, Faith, Ephriam, KC and Matt's mom. We loaded into the cars and headed up to Lebanon. It was chilly but we were all dressed warm. Luke fell asleep on the way and didn't wake up until we got to the train station. They had cookies and hot chocolate and they also had the Coca Cola bear there. We got the kids photos on the sleigh and in the clock tower and they are just precious. We waited in line and boarded the train. Ephriam was so cute seeing the train, he couldn't believe how big it was. We all sat in the same area we rode down the track one way for 15 or 20 minutes while they read the polar express and then Santa came around and gave each child a bell and then on the way back to Lebanon we sang Christmas Carols. It was really nice and we have a nice memory together. Faith said that the kids are still talking about their ride! Luke was too little to get too much out of it but next year I think he'll really enjoy it more. We all rode back to town and had a nice lunch at Frisch's.
That night, Matt and I left for a little while and went to do some Christmas shopping. We went to Toys R US and finished Luke up pretty much and a couple of other kids and then went to Northgate where I returned some items at the Children's Place. We came back home and then a little while later we put Luke to bed. We were all tired!
Sunday, we went to see Grandma Demonge at Schroeder and they also have a craft show and the kids can sit on Santa's lap. Luke didn't like sitting with Santa. He has just started with some separation issues so I think that had a lot to do with it. He got to see his cousins again for a short while and then we went home and a little later Mom and Holly came over and we made tacos for dinner.
More later on our week this week!

| | Gr - Sep 26, 2008 | A little early Christmas shopping never hurts. Wouldn't want the little fellow to get shorted on Christmas morning. (Yeah, like that is going to be a problem!!) Hope to get a grandkid fix soon.
