1 cup of shortening 2 cups milk
1 cup cocoa (dry) 2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder 4 cups flour
2 cups of sugar 1 teaspoon salt (optional)
( Can use splenda instead of sugar)
3 teaspoons baking soda 4 teaspoons vanilla
Cream together: Shortening - sugar - cocoa - eggs - vanilla
Add: Other dry ingredients - Mix well and drop by
teaspoons on a greased cookie sheet ( pam or the
like works well.
Bake: Bake at 350 degrees. (Use the toothpick test to see
when cake cookies are done.
Filling
1 1/2 cups shortening 6 - 10 teaspoons milk
4 cups confectioner sugar 4 teaspoons vanilla (white if you have it)
2 cups marshmellow fluff (Not marshmellow creme. If you can't find it I'll
send you some)
Use a hand mixer:
Mix: All ingredients together. (like frosting)
Spread: Between two (2) cake cookies
Serve with a nice cold glass of milk |
