| Check out the new Photos of Chapter 113 and 113A
Every year on Labor Day weekend there is a parade through the town of Fountain, CO. The parade ends at a local city park and marks the beginning of the Fountain Fall Festival. It's a fun time for the entire town. Chapter 113 and 113A have for many years participated in the parade and often used the Fall Festival as a Chapter Fundraiser.
The newest pictures in Chapter Happenings were taken at an early morning Pancake Breakfast, after which they took pride in decorating their trailer for the parade through town.

"When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself, a girlfriend is never farther away than needing her can reach, No matter how much time and how many miles are between you. When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself, one needs family and friends to cheer you on; pray for you; pull for you; and intervene on your behalf. We have no idea of the incredible joys or sorrows that lay ahead....nor do we know how much we would need each other." Submitted by Marie Peterson.

| TNIV Scripture for Saturday, November 21, 2009 [1 Peter 5:6-10] Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your fellow believers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 1 Peter 5:6-10 TNIV Bible |
