All reports are that the fundraiser for Val Olson was a success.  For the silent auction, a basket from friends and relatives had a theme of "A Family Night At Home," and it included board games, card games, popcorn and DVDs suitable for home viewing.  It also included a copy of Gramma Darlene's cookbook and a gift card to WalMart.  Darcy Young donated two hand-tied quilts.   Val and his family welcomed friends from many areas, including a couple that knew Val's grandparents--now coming to greet Val and let him know the family was well remembered.  Other neighbors and friends came to gather and provide their personal support.   The prayers, good thoughts and good deeds of all Val's friends and family are well appreciated, and the Olson Family would like to thank all the participants from the bottom of our collective heart.  GOD BLESS EVERYONE!
