Val has been doing well enough to get a night out.  Saturday, after completing his therapy, he had an overnight pass--which he and Mary used to visit Mary's aunt and Uncle (Jerry and Sandi), who live relatively close to the hospital (and who have been gracious enough to host Mary as Val recovers).
