Val has escaped.  Text message from him at 7:25 pm tonight (Wednesday, September 2) reads:

"I am out of HCMC!  Driver License has a medical hold on 'til October 20--and a lot of other Dr. orders.

HCMC (Hennepin County Medical Center) is an awesome place to go for me--but I am glad I am out!"

For the record--Val's spelling has improved significantly!
