 Bryson Michael Is Here!

At 6:51 am on December 6, 2007 Bryson Michael was born!  After 12 hours of labor, and only a few pushes, Bryson came into this world with open eyes and curious stares, in which he focused on mommy for the first hour of life!  He was very alert and content with mommy and daddy.  Mommy was uncomfortable for quite a while but it didn't matter when she looked at her sweet little boy!  He nursed like a champ too!  Daddy was exhausted from watching mommy labor all night, mommy slept a lot during labor since she had an epidural!  Yes, you read right, I said EPIDURAL!  It was very nice to rest through the contractions, and only feel pain while pushing him out!

Brianne, Coin, and Kylie all love their new brother so much!  Brianne cant get enough of him wanting to hold him all the time, Colin doesn't pay too much attention to him but loves that they share a room together, and Kylie just wants to smother him with kisses constantly!  So far no jealousy, just lots of love!  With the amount of love and attention they get from mommy and daddy they don't need to be jealous!
 Bryson's Progress

Bryson is doing much better on his new formula, which is the Good Start Soy.  His gas pains are so  much better than they were.  He is starting to sleep better, making mommy very happy!  He went for a check-up lst week b/c he was very congested, and he was tested for RSV, which came back negative (yea!) and his chest x-ray came back clear (yea again!).  He goes back for another check next week.  He also gained MORE weight, he's up to 11 pounds now!  He's a big boy, most of the weight is in his cheeks and neck, he has a cute double chin!  He also started smiling at his mommy the day he turned 4 weeks old!  He has such a sweet smile!  Brianne, Colin, and Kylie still love him a lot, and still give him loads of kisses every day, making mommy take hundreds of pictures of them together!  The pictures will get uploaded shortly, when mommy has 5 minutes to herself to do so.  That's all for now!  check back soon for more updates!
