We all wish to be something great in life. I always figured that I was the best, it was all about me, I didn't really care about Jesus or the plan that he had for my life. The only thing that it was about was Garrett and what he wanted to do. This all changed a few months ago when I picked up a copy of the Left Behind series and began reading. I thought to myself, "Wow, these characters have a lot of similarities to me!!!" This is what scared me. I recognized then that I wasn't a true Christian, just kinda one that was "going along" with the flow. I wanted to be true and I did when I discovered the prayer in the series which is also posted on this website under, "How To Become Saved". After I had spoke the words of life, I had the most surreal sense of joy and happiness that I believe is possible for a person. I began to cry as I not only began to see the distance I had been from Jesus, but also all the wrong I had done against one True GOD. When I realized that through Jesus I could receive eternal life and forgiveness I immediately prayed the prayer and to this day I cannot wait for my eternity in heaven. |
