1-1/2 cups smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup softened butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
4 cups sifted confectioners sugar
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp. shortening
Line baking sheet with wax paper.
Mix peanut butter, butter, vanilla, and sugar with hands to form a smooth stiff dough.
Shape into small balls.
Place on baking sheet and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Melt shortening and chocolate chips in pot until smooth.
Remove balls from refrigerator and using a toothpick dip each one in melted chocolate. Place back in refrigerator for at least 1 hour before eating. |
